AJANG DANIEL Theme: Good Governance and a Brighter Future for Workers Dear great workers of Plateau State, Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, Today, as we join millions across Nigeria and around the world to celebrate this special occasion of Workers’ Day, I, Hon. Ajang Daniel, stand before you with a heart full of gratitude, respect, and hope. Workers’ Day is not just a public holiday—it is a moment of recognition. A recognition of your sacrifices, your resilience, and your unwavering commitment to building our state and our nation. From the civil servants in our offices, to the farmers in our fields, the teachers shaping our future, the health workers saving lives, and every hardworking citizen—today is your day. I salute your courage. Despite the economic challenges, despite uncertainties, you have continued to rise each day with determination. You have kept the wheels of progress turning. Plateau State stands today because of your labour, your sweat, and your dedication. As someone whose mandate is rooted in good governance, I want to assure you that your efforts are not in vain. Good governance is not just a promise—it is a responsibility. A responsibility to create opportunities, to ensure fairness, to improve working conditions, and to build a system where every worker is valued and rewarded. We understand your struggles.
